Know the Wind and Water
With a GNX Wind Wired Sail Pack, you will have all the equipment you need to understand what’s going on with the wind and the water.
GNX Wind Marine Instrument
GNX Wind gives you the wind data necessary to make confident decisions. It features a high-visibility, glass-bonded backlit monochrome LCD display with customizable backlight colors. Through the NMEA 2000 network, it shows two data fields and a digital wind rose simultaneously to display true and apparent wind data, steering guidance, boat speed, and more. Its low power consumption (350 mW daylight without backlight, 400 mW nighttime with mid-level backlight) makes it perfect for sailboats. Fully customizable user profiles allow you to configure the screen layout to your preferences. Display configurations include more than 15 important marine parameters for wind, speed, and navigation. It can even wirelessly connect to a quatix 3 GPS marine smartwatch via ANT technology to stream wind data directly to your wrist.
gWind Wired Transducer
The gWind transducer features twin-fin technology with a 3-bladed propeller for more accurate True Wind Speed (TWS) in lighter air, while the twin-fin design provides a more stable True Wind Angle (TWA). Unlike a cup design, the 3-bladed propeller is always efficient. Combined with optic reading, this transducer ensures superior accuracy at low wind speeds with excellent linearity.
GNX 20 Marine Instrument
The GNX 20 display shows water depth, boat speed through the water, water temperature, and more than 50 marine and boat parameters. Its easy-to-read glass-bonded display with an anti-glare lens coating provides excellent readability in both daytime and nighttime conditions. High-contrast digits are scalable up to 36 mm for clear visibility.
AIRMAR DST810 Thru-hull Smart Transducer
The DST810 combines precise depth, speed, and temperature data with altitude sensing for heel/trim and pitch/roll inputs, which it provides to the NMEA 2000 network and GNX 20 instrument. This multisensor transducer reads depths up to 330 feet, provides a fast 5 Hz water speed signal output, and operates at 235 kHz with a fan-shaped beamwidth of 10x44 degrees. Wireless connectivity via BLUETOOTH technology allows calibration directly through AIRMAR’s Cast app. Advanced speed calibration enables adjustments at multiple heel angles and speeds.
